-Songs of African Roses

-Creeds of Primeval Griots.

The poems in these
collections are a
distress call for Africa to
unite into
a single republic with
one constitution. And to
industrialize so as to
compete with world
economic groupings
such as the US, China,
EU and India.
Africa is the richest
continent seconded to
none but paradoxically
the poorest in GDP and
per capital income.

The Griot's Hymns are touching poems
which chronicle Africas catastrophic
moments and the leadership crises that
the continent continues to grapple with.
They also celebrate great Africans who
have distinguished themselves as heroes
and heroines of the continent. Above all
these Hymns are a celebration of the
African way of life as the griot paints a
serene picture of food, women and dance.
NN Dzenchuos Songs of African Roses is
a string of verses composed by a vigilant
observer of the intrinsic beauty that Africa
still has in contrast with the stigma of
tyranny, war, disease and poverty that
African people are always associated with.
The poet demonstrates in these lucid and
tranquil lines that Africa remains the
cradle of humanity and, even with its
weaknesses, harbours compassion, love
and dignity.

Dzenchuo's Creeds of Primeval
Griots might prove a richly
treasured collection given that the
poets ideological framework finds
artistic expression in a number of
aesthetic allusive, metaphorical
and symbolic features.
If the entire continent's 54
countries' GDP can not
match that of Britain alone
or France or Germany,
countries now clustering
into a continental
economy, how much less
can Africa compete with
such a mega economy
when the
entire continent can not
compete even with the
individual countries
making
the EU, for example?

If Africa does not unite she
will continue to be a
no-man's land for the
neo-Colonial powers!
Brothrens and Sisters, we
owe
this responsibility, for
history is our witness and
time now is our ally.

Our future generations
must be inheritors, not
survivors.
